While this term may be a little shorter in length, there remains a significant amount of learning to complete before the summer break. Each school day plays a vital role in helping students successfully finish this year’s curriculum. Many subjects continue to complete key assignments and projects, and students are participating in various group work activities and learning experiences both on and off school campus.
Students who are present, prepared, and ready for the school day will benefit greatly from this important learning work and we ask for your continued support in ensuring your child continues to attend school every day and on time for check and connect. This is a comprehensive resource designed to support parents and carers who are concerned about school avoidance. The school avoidance section on the CDI website also offers very helpful practical advice and trusted strategies to help families understand and respond to school avoidance in a compassionate and informed way.
Both these resources and support links contain very valuable information, and we encourage you to take the time to review them carefully — not only to support your child now and through the remainder of this term, but also to help prepare for continued success beyond the summer into the next school year.
