Welcome to Firhouse Educate Together Secondary School! This is an exciting time to be joining the school community, as we are now based on our permanent site, we have finished an entire cycle of a 1st-6th Year student cohort (they graduated in 2024) and we have many exciting activities for students to get involved in. We are very proud of our Teaching and Learning at Firhouse ETSS. We adopt a cross-curricular and team-teaching approach whenever possible and use a virtual learning environment both to communicate and, to store and distribute our learning materials; creating our own digital content and resources. Textbooks are not used in Junior Cycle. See What Learning Looks Like in our School for more information.
As we are an iPad-school, students must adhere to our Digital Technology Acceptable Use Policy. During their 1st Year students will be given Digital Learning support during Learning to Learn and all students will be issued their own vsware account, see here for more information.
